Our Company History

An Integrated Energy and Infrastructure Development Company

Our company is a Hungarian-owned business built on more than a decade of experience in energy and infrastructure development. We cover the full spectrum of the energy value chain, from project development and construction to investor-side asset management.

The professional collaboration of the company’s founders in Hungary’s energy sector spans more than 15 years. The predecessor and professional foundations of the business were established by the Pannon Green Power team, founded in 2015 by three Hungarian energy and construction professionals with the aim of becoming a key player in the domestic renewable energy market. The founders had previously held senior roles at energy companies, contributed to the development of energy strategy programmes and participated in the work of international professional organisations.

Over the years, the team has become one of the active developers in Hungary’s renewable energy market. In its early years, it focused primarily on the development, construction and operation of solar power projects, before gradually expanding its activities into energy advisory, investment management, grid infrastructure development and investor-side asset management.

By 2020, the professional team had built a development portfolio of nearly 20 MW across more than 35 projects, while also implementing significant projects as an investor and developer in its own right. One flagship reference was a solar power system in Hugyag, Nógrád County, with a total capacity of 2.9 MW and an investment value exceeding HUF 1 billion. The project comprised five small-scale solar power plants, each with a capacity of 570 kW, which achieved generation results above expectations.

The company subsequently continued to expand its presence in Hungary’s renewable energy market. By around 2020, the solar power portfolio under management and development exceeded 100 MW, while new multi-site solar development programmes were also launched. A Pioneering Role in the Energy Storage Market

The company has also played a significant role in the development of Hungary’s energy storage market. In September 2023, it successfully commissioned Hungary’s first standalone Tesla Megapack energy storage system in Törökszentmiklós. The project was implemented as a 5 MW / 10 MWh system comprising four Tesla Megapack units.

The investment was not only a technological milestone for Hungary’s energy sector but also provided a significant market advantage, as the project preceded the anticipated broader development of the Hungarian energy storage market by two to three years. The system complies with international grid and safety standards and is one of the first large-scale energy storage investments in Hungary to demonstrate the commercial and system-operation benefits of battery storage in actual commercial operation.

In implementing the energy storage project, the company demonstrated full-scope development capabilities, including site development, grid connection, project management, financing preparation and the establishment of a long-term asset management structure. This experience is now one of the company’s most important competitive advantages in the development, investment appraisal and operational support of BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects.

In 2026, strengthened by new owners, acquisitions and new partners, the company expanded its scope of activities. Its professional focus now extends far beyond conventional renewable energy project development. As an integrated service provider, we are active in:

It is extremely important to us what kind of world we pass on to future generations. We feel responsible for helping Hungary’s energy system become more sustainable, more secure and better prepared for the challenges of the future.

Through our work, we actively contribute to the energy transition. We develop renewable energy projects and design and build grid infrastructure that enables the efficient generation, transmission and use of clean energy. By constructing cable networks, substations and related energy facilities, we support the modernisation and decarbonisation of Hungary’s electricity system.

Our goal is to provide our clients and partners with reliable, environmentally responsible solutions of a consistently high professional standard over the long term. We believe that sustainability, security of supply and economic development are mutually reinforcing objectives.
